EDUCATION

Susana Marín Coe-Archer holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management with a minor in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston, Texas. USA and a Master in Hotel and Restaurant Management from the same institution. Trained at the Ritz Carlton Leadership Training Centre (Atlanta) in Situational Leadership by Ken Blanchard and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey. Susana is Coach by CTI (Co-Active Training Institute) and Certified in Bridge and Sikkhona (communication models and team assessments) by the Instituto de Comunicación.

EXPERIENCE

Over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

International experience in Hilton, JW Marriott, Whyndham Hotel and Resorts, Ritz Carlton, and national and international family groups in operations, sales and Quality. Quality Director in Hotel Arts Barcelona (The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company).

Over 15 years as General Manager in different hotels. She has led 5 openings including the creation of service culture, concept, processes, teams and market positioning. Hotel Pulitzer 4*, Hotel Casa Camper 4*Barcelona and Berlin, Hotel Almanac Barcelona 5*GL.
Visiting professor at EADA Business School in the Master in Hospitality Management, with the subject of “Culture and Leadership” and the class of “Strategy for sustainable business” in the Master in International Management.

Since 2018, aligned with her passion for service and the purpose to inspire people to create value in their lives and service organizations, she is dedicated to impulse and facilitate leaders to create their culture, value system and leadership principles to keep their teams engaged, happy, and committed with providing excellent service for their guests on a sustainable way.
